Balanced Diet

Have you ever wondered what is a blanced diet??
We often hear people say a balanced diet is a must for an individual,so what exactly is a balanced diet??


Nowadays, there are many health problems that people are experiencing, which are arising due to several reasons. For most of the problems, the correct and only solution is a balanced diet. A diet which contains all the nutrients e.g. energy, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates etc.  required by an individual for the proper maintenance of health and optimum growth is termed as a 'balanced diet'.Eating a nutritionally balanced diet helps control weight and reduce risk for developing chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, obesity or kidney disorders.If the body is getting all the essential nutrients regularly, it will certainly be fit.A balanced diet not only keeps us physically fit, but it all keeps us mentally sound.It keeps us mentally active,contributing to overall fitness.
Many dieters believe that by severely restricting their daily caloric intake or by eliminating a certain food group, such as carbohydrates, that they will lose weight quickly.Infact this is the biggest misconception.
